Our small acreage farm and native plant nursery is named for our two Beauceron dogs. An ancient herding breed from France also known as Bas Rouge or 'lower red' - 'red stockings' for the reddish fur on their legs and paws. Our Beaucerons are wonderful companions and guardians.

Our small acreage farm and native plant nursery is located in Orono, Maine (in the Greater Bangor area).
It began as a homestead over a dozen years ago. In 2026, we are going into our fifth year as a farm business with several enterprises & credentials:
We enjoy teaching, writing and speaking about what we know. If you are interested in booking a presentation or speaker for your group, please see our Public Speaking page here.
If you would like to buy native plants, native shrubs, native trees & seeds, visit us during the growing season at the Orono and Bangor Farmers' Markets.
Learn about gardening classes; or view our products under Shop. Book a garden consultation here.
