OUR NAME

Our small acreage diversified farm is named

for our two Beauceron (Boh-seh-rohn) dogs.

An ancient herding breed from France also known as

Bas Rouge or 'lower red' - 'red stockings' for the reddish fur on their legs and paws. Our Beaucerons are wonderful companions and guardians on the farm.

OUR FARM

Our small acreage farm started as a homestead over a dozen years ago. In 2025, we are going into our fourth year as a farm business with several enterprises & credentials:

  • Native Plant Nursery
  • Certified Green Infrastructure Practitioner
  • Permaculture & Garden Planning Services
  • Blacksmith Forge

We enjoy teaching, writing and speaking about what we know.

If you would like to learn more about our small farm; would like to buy native plants, native shrubs, native trees & seeds, visit us during the growing season at these farmers' markets; learn about gardening classes; or view our products under Shop. Book a garden consultation here.
