Workshops

NEW for 2026!

Join us during the spring, summer and fall for three workshops to learn about the native plants in our ecosystems and the pollinators that need them. Workshops are led by Ivonne Vazquez, Registered Maine Guide/Recreation and owner/grower at Bas Rouge Farm & Forge, a native plant nursery.

Workshop: Pollinator Photography with Your Phone, 8/15/26

This is a hybrid workshop which includes time outdoors taking images of pollinators, a slide presentation of images taken in Orono with a smartphone. A recipe card of techniques to use in 'the field' and handouts.
